Day 1: Training 5hr (CE) introduces the topic of domestic and intimate partner violence, including key statistics, common myths, reasons victims may stay or return, the cycle of abuse, characteristics of abusers, and identifying the most dangerous periods for victims.
Day 2: Training 5hr (CE) focuses on the impact of domestic and intimate partner violence on children, including behavioral signs, brain development, and strategies for support. The session also covers healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, boundary building after abuse, and local resources for clients and professionals.
